The Kapuskasing Food Bank received $1,669 from the town this week as part of its annual holiday parking meter campaign. It’s the ninth year that the town gives money collected from parking meters from the end of November to mid-December to support the organization.
The total is down nearly $400 from last year but almost on par with what was given in 2022. In the past nine years, parking meter program has raised over $17,000 for the Food Bank.
