There’s a large visitor coming to Hearst’s Notre Dame Hospital tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 3 o’clock.
CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions and the Ontario Health Coalition is bringing by a 15-foot wooden Trojan horse as part of a tour across various hospitals in the north. CUPE officials say the horse symbolizes the duplicity of the Ontario PC’s hospital services and privatization plan.
The group is calling for an end to privatization of hospital surgeries and diagnostic tests and wants the government to invest more in staffing.
