Over 250 people attended the Northern Corridor Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala on Saturday night at the Centre de Loisirs.
Val Albert Motors won the night’s top prize of Business of the Year; while Oliver Rickard accepted Lifetime Achievement honours. The Kapuskasing Food Bank and the Warm Belly Soup Kitchen were chosen as the Non-profit of the year.
Other winners included: Kap River Farms – Community Builder; Rody’s Retail-Customer Service; People Powered Solutions – Innovation Award; Outstanding Workplace – McDonald’s; People’s Choice—North 49; and New Business-CNC Cabinets.
