Two Quebec drivers up on drug charges following traffic stop

Two Quebec drivers are up on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop and vehicle search on Highway 11 between Smooth Rock Falls and Cochrane by OPP.

The vehicle was pulled over by Police last Monday, March 11 for not having tail lights and a short time later two people were arrested following a search.

Police recovered drugs suspected to be methamphetamines, hash, bear spray, a large kitchen knife and a small amount of Canada cash.

The two accused are up on long list of charges including:  trafficking and possession of methamphetamines and possession of a prohibited device. One of them is up on five counts of possession of a knife for a dangerous purpose. Visit My Kap Hearst Now Dot Com for a complete list of charges.
