Two Flyers players named to Team NOHA for OHL Cup next month in Mississauga

Three hockey players from our region have been named to Team NOHA for the prestigious OHL Cup tournament, the last week of March in Mississauga and Toronto.

The northern team is composed of players from the Great North U18 League.

From the Kapuskasing Flyers are defenceman Fynn Manttari and forward Lex Lamontagne. They’ll be joined by forward Edan Etheridge of the Timmins Majors.

On the coaching staff are assistant coach Darren Potvin and trainer David Losier, both from the Flyers.

The preliminary rounds go at the Scotiabank Pond in Mississauga.  The final goes Saturday, March 30th at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, the new name for the historic Maple Leaf Gardens on Carlton St. in Toronto.
