The town of Kap is looking for a new public works general manager. Council learned at this week’s meeting that Eric Cote is stepping down from his position as of March 31st after 10 years at the helm and 20 years total with the municipality.

Cote, who is headed to the business world, says there have been plenty of accomplishments to reflect on.

“We have seen quite a bit of change in infrastructure programs,” he said. “I mean we built a new water plant, new water tower, massive renovations to the sewage plant…numerous numerous capital projects. It’s been a very interesting time.”

He says he’s looking forward to the future and new opportunity.
