Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing now has a spiffy labour and delivery room. The new equipment that included a fetal heart monitor, post-natal family bed, labour and delivery bed and an overhead light has all been recently installed and now working.
Project manager Mireille Dubosq says the project was completed in a short amount of time thanks to the donation from Agnico Eagle.
The hospital foundation is now fundraising for an upgrade to the Dialysis Unit that includes a private entrance, paved parking area, fire monitoring system and a back-up generator.
