The Kapuskasing Rotary Club’s annual Food Drive enters its second day of operation today.
Over 1,100 pounds of food was collected and an estimated $3,000 was raised yesterday.
The donations of money and food go to the food bank, a resource members of the community rely upon.
Currently the drive is not on pace to beat last year’s contributions of $9,000 and nearly 4,000 pounds of food.
The drive hosted by Moose FM in the Circle is in its twentieth year of operation.
The drive continues today until 6:00pm.
Members of the community can drop off food outside of our studios in the Circle, located in downtown Kapuskasing.
