Kap Public Library offering language App

The Kapuskasing Public Library is offering a unique language app to its patrons. CEO Julie Latimer says Mango Language Learning is free if you have a library card and teaches people in an easy conversational style.

ā€œAll you have to do is sign in and it will give you the option of: Do you want to pay this or do you want to pay that or do you want it for free because of your library,” she said. “You will click free because my library is awesome.ā€

Latimer says the library is offering it after seeing an increase in the number of people wanting to take advantage of their books.

ā€œAnd the library has a small selection of language learning books and they have been circulating quite a lot,” she said. “We thought we would offer this because then it’s 3 o’clock in the morning and you can’t sleep and I’m going to work on my Spanish. It’s also pirate day and I’m going to learn how to speak like a pirate.ā€

Mango Language Learning is available for both Android and Apple users. For further information drop by the library or call them.
