The Kapuskasing Food Bank will be getting help from the town’s parking meters starting today. That program which began in 2014 allows you to help the food bank by just paying for parking until December 15th.
This year the campaign has been extended to three weeks to help the Food Bank make up the difference in the decline of revenue generated the past few years.
In 2015, the number was as high as over $2,600 but declined to just over $1,600 last year.
