The Kapuskasing Golden Age Centre and the town of Mattice-Val Cote (Ma-tice Val Co-teh) are receiving funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Mines Minister and Timmins MPP George Pirie made the announcement this morning. Pirie says he is proud that the government is supporting organizations that are making a positive difference in our community.
The Mattice-Val Cote Community Hall is getting $150,000 to give it a fresh new look. In Kapuskasing, the Golden Age Centre is receiving $44,800 to improve the kitchen so members can prepare meals for special events.
