The Town of Kap is stepping up to help the Northeastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services Angel Tree Campaign. Town Council approved a $1,000 donation on Monday night.
That total has already been matched by Northern Ontario Wires. Town employees have also given to the program in the past committing to 50 toys and $2,115 worth of gift cards and cash last year. The Angel Tree campaign got underway this past Friday at Walmart in Kapuskasing.
You can grab an ornament off the tree with a gift suggestion to purchase for a child. That item is dropped off unwrapped in the toy box and then later collected by NEOFACS officials.
