After a successful debut, Kap Kraze is back bigger and better than ever next summer. During a sponsor appreciation event yesterday tourism and special events coordinator Kelly Kraby says the success of the first year was amazing and she can’t wait for next July 26th and 27th.
“Saturday night’s headliner is Aaron Goodvin and our supporting act is the Prairie States both are from Alberta, and back by popular demand we’re gonna have DJ Johnny Rivex to warm up the crowd and see the night,” she said.
Kraby says the first year they welcomed visitors from across Ontario, Manitoba and even the United States.
She says there are some new wrinkles being added including tailgate party on Friday night.
“Food vendors are going to be there merchants, the kids zone inflatables all of the favourite festival activities that we usually host,” she said. “But what’s really cool next year is that we’ll be featuring a car show. The cars that are going to be in the derby are going to be there, you can meet the driver see the build of their car.”
New categories are also being added to the Demolition Derby too.
