Festibiere kicks off Friday night in Kap, Rosewood Avenue hits stage Saturday

A fall festival is set to make its return tonight in Kapuskasing. It’s the Beer Festival Festi-biere at the Centre de Loisirs complete with beer tasting, traditional Ocktoberfest food as well as English and French music. Director General Denik Dorval says ticket sales are moving along well.

“And Rosewood Avenue, lots of people are also interested in seeing them that why we have almost have the same amount of tickets sold for both nights,” he said. “This means that Rosewood is gaining some popularity because Swing is probably one of the most popular groups in Kapuskasing for the Francophone Community.”

Dorval says the main hall is hosting the fun this year.

“We will still have lots of space for tables and also have a dance floor,” he said. “We have our amphitheater which is going to be open where people can be sitting if they don’t want to drink and just watch the show.”

Tickets are still available at the Centre de Loisirs.
