Mark your calendars for the end of September, Festibiere Kapuskasing Beer Fest is back at the Centre de Loisirs. General Director Denik Dorval says it became popular in a short amount of time prior to the pandemic, and he’s happy to relaunch it again, with a well- known band from the region headlining Saturday, Sept. 30.
“Rosewood Avenue is going to be the main event, so now the Festibiere is going to turn into like a dance floor and a main concert,” he said. “So it’s a combination of music, and craft beer. That’s why we changed the logo to reflect a little bit more to what this event is going to turn out to be.”
The Friday before is dedicated to French music with LGS hitting the stage.
“The doors are going to open at 5 pm, and from 5 to 7 pm we have a supper that’s going to be served and it’s to taste local craft beer,” he said. “And then we have music from 7 pm until 2 am.”
Further details on the festival will be release on social media. Tickets are available through the Centre de Loisirs website.
