Nominations are open for the Northern Corridor Chamber of Commerce annual business awards. President Cathy Courshesne says there are eight different categories including lifetime achievement, community builder and best workplace to choose from. She adds that you don’t have to be chamber member to participate.
“You can nominate your own boss, you can nominate your manager, you can nominate your neighbour, yourself if you want,” she said. “There are so many businesses out there too many to name. So really thinking outside of the box for a business you want to nominate.”
Courchesne explains how the process works.
“You have until Friday, June 23rd at 4:30 to nominate somebody,” she said. “All you have to do is go on to the chamber’s website fill the application and tell us why you are nominating this person or business.”
Finalists will be chosen later this summer and winners announced at the business awards gala in September at the Centre de Loisirs.
