A family event that celebrates a healthy lifestyle hits the Kapuskasing streets on Sunday afternoon. It’s the Colour Run starting at 1 o’clock from Riverside Park.
Northern Vibrancy Committee member Kate Kozolovich says what makes this run unique is that participants are sprayed with colourful powder at each check point. It’s free to sign-up.
“Registration begins at noon for those who haven’t registered online with Eventbrite — 12:30 pm for those who have registered in advance,” she saiid. “We strongly urge people to register in advance to avoid any long line-ups the day of.”
You are invited to walk, jog or bike the 5 kilometre route, but there are sections available where you can opt for a shorter distance.
“It’s definitely a cool, great event to sign up with your family and have fun during the day,” she said.
