OPP take $280,000 worth of suspected cocaine off Hearst streets

A large amount of suspected cocaine is now off the streets in Hearst, following two search warrants used by Ontario Provincial Police on yesterday.

At the first home, Police recovered what they think is cocaine worth an estimated quarter of a million dollars plus about $150,000 in Canadian currency, digital scales and cell phones. At the second place, they found suspected cocaine worth about $3,000.

Two Hearst residents are facing drug possession charges, with one of them up on possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
