A Haileybury woman who occasionally drives to Timmins with her husband for medical appointments is the winner of April’s District Hospital Foundation’s 50-50 draw.
Rollie Allaire pockets $151,920.
She bought her tickets at almost the last minute as she held her sleeping, seven-week-old grandson Clark, thinking he would be a good luck charm.
At the top of the to-do with the money list is repairs to the roof that young Clark lives in with his family.
