Pauline Reuben was speechless when she got a phone call Friday morning.
It was the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation, telling the Moosonee woman she won the March 50-50 draw, and a cool $177,222.
When she regained her ability to speak, Pauline called her husband, Michael. He wasn’t sure he could believe her, because Pauline is a bit of a prankster.
She’s not sure yet what to do with the money.
The April draw is supporting the laboratory, as it looks to buy microscopes and microtomes – a tissue cutting tool.
