The region is falling short of its blood donor targets, and a campaign this week is trying to change that.
Canadian Blood Services and emergency services, like the fire and police units, are teaming up for Sirens for Life. Joanne Drake, a spokesperson for the event says the goal is to raise awareness and encourage donations.
The clinic is tonight at St Dominique’s (Dominick) Church on Park from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. There is another clinic running tomorrow afternoon until 6:30PM.
