North Claybelt Community Futures Development Corporation is having an open house today from 1 to 3 pm at its new officers on McPherson avenue in Kapuskasing. Executive Director Linda Semczyszym says this open house is an opportunity to let everyone know what types of services North Claybelt has to offer.
“We feel that it’s important that during this time of post COVID – we’re not completely out of it that we help businesses survive and even expand their existing operation,” she said.
Semczyszym (Sem-Chiz-um) says the new offices have been a benefit to clients and the corporation.
“We have a lot more new clients,” she said. “We’ve actually put a lot more loans in the last eight months. The feedback is very positive, people know who we are – they know we exist.”
Board members and staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding their services and products available during the open house.
