Nomination forms are in circulation for the Kapuskasing and District Chamber of Commerce annual business awards.
President Cathy Courchesne says there are eight awards.

- Digital Transformation
- Customer Service
- Outstanding Workplace
- Lifetime Achievement
“Everybody that was nominated was sent out a form and they have until Thursday at 3:30 to fill out the criteria explaining why they think they should win the award,” says Courchesne, “and from then, it will go to the judging committee to pick the top three.”
The judges are non-partial and not directly related to the Chamber.
“The gala will be this September, Saturday the 24th at the Centre des Loisirs,” the president notes. “People get all dolled up to go out. It’s a great evening. This year the theme is Diamonds and Pearls.”
Pearls are for the 30th annual awards presentation. Diamonds are for the Chamber’s 60th year.
