National Fishing Week Comes to a Close

DSCF1441

The 12th of July marked the end of National Fishing Week.

Normal regulations for licensing are now back in effect.

You now need an Outdoors card and the proper tags to fish in our lakes and waterways in Ontario as the day passes are no longer valid.

If you are found fishing without the proper tags on your Outdoors card you could be subject to harsh fines which will limit your ability to attain a license in the future.

You can apply for licensing at http://www.ontario.ca/travel-and-recreation/fishing

An Outdoors Card only costs ten dollars and Ontario residents can attain a three-year Sport-Fishing Tag for under 100-dollars.
