A drug rehabilitation facility that treats young adults in Opasatika needs your help. Arc En Ciel has launched a clothing blitz and Executive Director Estelle says it’s a great opportunity to help those who may show up at their facility with just the clothing on their backs.
It’s helping our community connect with our centre,” she said. “It’s an amazing centre that we have, we bring youth, we reconnect them with nature. We do outdoor activities. They learn to live life on a farm.”
Berube says drop off boxes are checked daily at several locations in Kapuskasing.
“We have the Centre de Loisirs, CKGN Radio, the Kapuskasing and area Family Health Team, and Centre de Sante Communitaire de Kapuskasing,” she said. “So all of these places have drop off boxes.”
Anything from pants, shirts, winter clothing is greatly appreciated. The clothing drive concludes near the middle of this month.
