The Ontario Trillium Foundation has given the Smooth Rock Falls Economic Development Corporation a $106,400 grant to assist in rebuilding from the impacts of COVID-19.
The money helped the EDC hire a local company to develop a new strategic plan, look at the long term future of the Smooth Truck Fest, training and to purchase software that digitizes the museum collection.
EDC chairman Robert Blanchette says with the Trillium Foundation’s help it can serve the community safely and efficiently.
