The Town of Kap will not proceed with a COVID-19 vaccination incentive lottery.
Administrator Guylain Baril says that after consulting with its health partners in the area, the town has decided to pursue other avenues that promote the benefits of vaccination instead of the lottery concept.
Three second-dose vaccination clinics set to start in Kapuskasing Friday are full. Several other clinics for those who still haven’t received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine are expected to take place next week.
