Forty new cases of COVID-19 are confirmed today by the Porcupine Health Unit.
Twenty-seven of them are in Timmins and 13 up on the coast. The total now during the pandemic is 1,482.
PHU is also reporting 40 resolved cases, so the number active stays at 318.
