The travelling public has again been exposed to the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 on two modes of transportation in the Porcupine Health Unit region.
If you were on the Polar Bear Express train to Moosonee from Cochrane on Tuesday, May 18th, seated in car 3, rows 1 to 10, you are at high risk. PHU says you should immediately self-isolate and call the health unit.
If you took the 8:15am bus from Timmins to Cochrane that same morning, you’re at low risk but are asked to self-monitor for symptoms more closely than usual until Tuesday, June 2nd.
