The Kapuskasing and District Chamber of Commerce is trying to help businesses protect their employees from COVID-19. Eight thousand rapid test kits are being sent to the chamber early next month. Vice President Philippe Guertin says it’s an easy process.
“You will have a training video that you will have to watch. You have to select a designated person that’s gonna take that training video and supervise the tests when they are done at the local business.”
The Chamber is also looking at teaming up with the Centre de Sante to vaccinate employees inside businesses.
Guertin says this plan could reduce the stress level of employees.
“The Centre de Sante would come to your business and vaccinate your employees. So that would help out with employees taking time off or just make it a lot easier. The whole point of this is to get as many people vaccinated as possible with the least amount of friction.”
