This appears to be the time of the year for planned lengthy power outages in our region. A second eight hour power outage was announced by Hydro One – this time for about 1,800 customers in the Moonbeam to Smooth Rock Falls area on Sunday, May 30. The town of Moonbeam is not included in this outage according to Hydro One officials. The outage is set from 8 am to 4 pm and planned maintenance is the reason behind it.
