There is no hockey in Kapuskasing this weekend. The Northern Ontario Hockey Association announced last night that the Great North Midget Hockey League’s Championship tournament in Kapuskasing was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. The news was part of Hockey Canada’s decision and announcement to end the hockey season for all levels. All six GNML teams had played one round robin game on Thursday and then participated in the Champions Awards Banquet.
