It’s a very special time of the year at the Kapuskasing District Chamber of Commerce. Finalists were announced today (Tuesday) for the various awards they will handing out at the 29th annual business gala in September.
The nominees for Lifetime achievement are Alan Spacek, Rene Labelle and Scott and Simone Knowles.
Business of the year nominees are Hart Store, Lecours Motor Sales and Office Pro – Kapuskasing.
Those who are up for Small Business Of The Year are Back to the Grind, Les Boys Sports and RNL Cleaning Services.
The new business of the year nomnees are Northern Edge, Northern Family Chiropractic and Rehab and Rody’s Retail.
Up for the Young Professional Of The Year are Dominique Tremblay, Mel Credger and Jessica Lallier
The Not-for-profit of the year finalists are Centre de Sante, Kapuskasing Foodbank and Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scan.
The Excellence in Service nominees are: Back To the Grind, Le Spa by Mel and Les Boys Sports, and the PIC Productivity and Innovation finalists are InnoTerraTech, Northern Edge and Truly Northern.
