The Kapuskasing District Chamber of Commerce announced today nominations for the Business Awards Gala that will take place on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Centre De Loisirs. The categories include New Business Of The Year, Excellence In Service, Non-For-Profit Of The Year, Innovation And Productivity, Young Professional Of The Year, Lifetime Achievement, Business Of The Year and Small Business Of The Year.
Chamber president Alain Murray is thrilled with the number of businesses bu that were nominated… He said they always see a good variety of names pop up and it shows the strong amount of gratification that the community is showing towards the businesses.
Judging for the various categories will be taking place over the next few days through a sub-committee that was chosen. A short list of nominees will be announced in the coming days. The Kapuskasing District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala is celebrating its 29th year.
