All We Get Is Wind, Wind, Wind No Matter What, Extreme Cold Continues In Area

The wind isn’t stopping for anybody.

According to Environment Canada, this morning wind chills at minus 40 to minus 45 passed through Kapuskasing, Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls.

The weather agency says don’t expect these extreme cold winds to stop anytime soon as they are expected to continue through Thursday morning.

Environment Canada is continuing to remind residents that extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

They want to stress that you should be keeping an eye on cold-related symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.

The weather agency is once again reminding pet owners that if it is too cold for you outside, it’s too cold for your pet.
