Strong winds are expected throughout this morning through Highway 11 corridor communities.
Environment Canada says a powerful cold front will be sweeping throughout the area of Kapuskasing, Hearst and Smooth Rock Falls.
The weather agency says gusts of wind up to 70 or 80 kilometres an hour will start to develop, which could be capable of tossing loose objects and causing even tree branches to break off.
Environment Canada says the winds should weaken though by Thursday afternoon.
