Construction ongoing near a Kap Sno-Rover trail is not going to be a bother to groomers.
That’s according to Kap Sno-Rovers Club President Bob Roussy, who says the current ongoing work that has created some issues along certain portions of their trail, will not last long, and will actually be a positive.
Roussy says he has been in contact with Town of Kapuskasing CAO Guylain Baril and Public Works Manager Eric Cote about the ongoing work.
He says they have reassured him that the project will not be harming their trails, and as well, have been kind enough to provide Roussy with a favour.
Roussy says both Cote and Baril have promised to fill a ditch located near the trail once completed, something that he says will further help the Sno-Rovers.
Roussy says they would no longer need to ask the town for snow in order to fill the ditch, which would be a huge positive both in time and effort.
