Kapuskasing has announced the closure of three streets beginning Thursday morning.
As this year’s Lumberjack Heritage Festival nears the town is notifying residents of three road closures that will take place.
The town says sections of Riverside Drive, McPherson Avenue and Drury Street will all be closed off in order to finish off preparations for the festival beginning Thursday at 9:00am.
There will be some access roads and alleyways that will also see entry blocked off as well.
The town apologizes for the inconvenience and has stated that they will re-open streets as soon as possible come Sunday once the festival is over.
