Local charities in Kapuskasing will be benefitting from a new game coming to town.
The Northern Corridor Children’s Fund and the Kapuskasing Food Bank have teamed together to bring a Maritime tradition to Northern Ontario.
President of NCCF Sue Piche says the game titled ‘Catch the Ace’ will be a unique way to fundraise for both of these charities, while also giving the community a way to have some fun through the process.
Piche says the object of the game is simple, find the Ace of Spades and win the jackpot prize.
In order to pick up a ticket, you can find them at Circle Confectionary, CKGN, Namaste Studio as well as Spacek’s AVU and the Kapuskasing Food Bank all for five dollars.
Piche says this is a great way to give back to the community while being able to win a little for yourself, and it is all in the name of fun.
