An NDP Health Critic claims the Liberals have no plan to deal with the overwhelming amount of people waiting for long-term care.
Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas says there are currently 30,000 people waiting for beds in nursing homes across the province.
Gelinas says that a decade ago in 2007 the Liberals made promises that they would re-develop 35,000 long-term care beds by the year 2017.
Now, she wants to know what kind of progress the Liberals have been able to make so far.

Gelinas believes the Liberals are nowhere near reaching their goal based off stats that show as recently as 2014, that only 5,000 beds had been re-developed.
She says the government needs to provide an update on the number of redeveloped bed to this point.
