The Liberals are telling the NDP to put their money where their mouth is over the Ontario college strike. NDP education critic Peggy Sattler wants the government to get both sides back to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair deal. However, cabinet minister Brad Duguid challenged Sattler that if she was suggesting the government implement back-to-work legislation, then she should come out and say that and stop hiding behind the rhetoric. Duguid says all the government can do at this time is urge both sides to get back to bargaining of their own accord and negotiate a new contract as soon as possible. On Wednesday the strike enters its eighth day and affects about half a million students province-wide.
