The community of Kapuskasing has shown great support for one of their youngest members.
The 3rd Annual Hair-O-Thon took place at Le Coeur Du Nord public school in Kapuskasing Sunday afternoon in support of Alexandre Belanger’s battle with leukemia.
Estelle Belanger, a Kindergarten Teacher at the school and also the Aunt of Alexandre was there in support of her nephew who could not be present due to his current state of health.
Belanger says since Alex was diagnosed in December the support from the community has been unbelievable, and that only continued Sunday afternoon.
She says all day Sunday she was relaying Alex messages from people at Le Coeur Du Nord as well as pictures of how many had shown up to support him.
Belanger says she wants to thank the entire community for their help at prior events in support of Alex’s battle, or those who have donated at his go fund me page which you can find here.
