The beauty of Kapuskasing and the surrounding area is being brought to the attention of the community.
The Kapuskasing Public Library has teamed together with the Kapuskasing District Chamber of Commerce to hold its first ever Calendar Photo Contest.
Library Services Manager Johane Kosowan says the contest is to help highlight the beauty of the area across any season.
Kosowan says the contest will also help to build a sense of community.
She says they are looking for pictures from all seasons to best represent the nature, landscape and wildlife in the area.
The winning photographs will go on exhibit at the library and KDCC as well as become part of the 2018 community calendar.
All registration forms and photographs must be submitted to the library or KDCC by no later than 4:00pm on September 25th, 2017.
