The Northern Ontario Party’s First AGM Could Hold Lots of Changes

When the Northern Ontario Party holds its first ever Annual General Meeting next month, the members won’t just be voting on a new board.

Potentially they could also opt for a new leader. The current leader is Trevor Holliday of North Bay. NOP spokesman Myles Clayton says if the members want, they can decide to change not only the board but also the leader. The AGM takes place near Timmins on August 12th to the 14th. Clayton says if the members opt for a board and leadership change, they’ll vote on this in late August with the results announced on September 1st.

Holliday himself says it’s time to give the NOP members a chance to decide who they want to see lead them in next year’s provincial election.
