The Kapuskasing Flyers will have a few more games and a new opponent in the 2017/18 season.
The Great North Midget League has come to finalize its adjustments for the new season in both the schedule and its teams.
The league governors approved the addition of another team in Sault Ste. Marie, who join Sudbury as the only two places with both major and minor midget teams.
This means that the Flyers along with the rest of the league will have to play a new 38 game schedule.
The playoff format is said to remain the same for the upcoming season, which begins in September.
