The James Bay OPP detachment is out with R.I.D.E. check point stats. During a three day blitz beginning last Friday, police stopped about 300 vehicles and handed one driver a three-day license suspension. Eight other people face Provincial Offenses notices. In all, police officers set up 15 check points at various locations.
