As Cochrane starts getting ready for next year’s Torchlight Parade, there’s a request from the Cochrane Fire Department. The department is again looking for cans for the parade. As long as the tins are 10 to 14 ounces in size, the firefighters can use them. The department has a drop-off bin just outside the main door of the fire station. And remember to clean the cans before dropping them off. In the parade, the fire department gives residents torches they march through town to light up a massive bon fire made up of last year’s trees.
